Northwest Elementary
Movement School Northwest opened in August 2023 launching with kindergarten and 1st grade. We’ll be adding Pre-K and Second Grade for the 2023-2025 School Year and will add a grade each year through 5th Grade. This brand new facility is located in Northwest Charlotte.

It is with the utmost pleasure that I have the opportunity to be the founding principal of Movement Northwest. I am beyond thrilled about joining the Northwest community and working alongside our scholars, parents, team members, and all stakeholders on a daily basis. Together, your child’s educational experience will truly serve as a building block for a lifetime love of learning. My lifetime love of learning drives all that I do. I have been in education for 15 years, serving as a classroom teacher, Spanish teacher, grade level lead, assistant principal, and now your proud principal!
When I think about being a part of Movement, I think of just that…movement. I joined Movement as a founding member of Movement Eastland in 2020. Since then, I have been able to experience first hand how we are exemplifying a movement. We are providing top quality, rigorous education to every scholar that walks through our doors. Our educational approach combines social emotional learning with critical thinking, culturally relevant learning material and so much more. All of our scholars come to us with so much to offer. We believe deeply in embodying a mindset that shows our scholars that they truly can and will be whatever it is they want to be!
We exist to love and value all of our children. In order for this to happen at its fullest potential, developing and maintaining a positive partnership with you, the parents and guardians, is vital. Here at Northwest, your experience is just as valuable as your child’s experience. I thank you for trusting us with being a part of such formative years in your child’s life.
