Seeking New Board Members

*Our next process of new Board Members will begin in July 2026.

Movement Charter Schools are actively seeking qualified candidates for upcoming Board positions. We are looking for members who have experience in education, law, finance, or other related fields. Please submit your resume to Secretary Lorraine Roussell (lorraine.roussell@movement.com). The application window opens July 1st, 2026, and closes Aug 31, 2026. Applicants will be voted on during the September board meeting.

Upcoming Meetings

The Movement School Board meets from 1:30 to 3:00 pm on the third Tuesday of each month. Meetings will be held via Zoom and/or conference call until further notice. Dial in information for each meeting is provided below.

Community Comment
Movement Charter School welcomes members of the community to attend the meetings of the Movement Board of Directors. Movement Board meetings are primarily business meetings at which the business of the school is conducted. Any member of the community who wishes to address the board may do so during the Community Input portion of the meeting. Community members who wish to comment must email garrett@movementfoundation.org. by noon on the day of the board meeting. Each person may have up to three minutes to address the Board at that time. The Board will take each comment under advisement and may assign a staff member to follow up on any issue raised. The Board will not entertain comments on individual students or employees during the Community Input period.
